Luxury, Redefined

At TealHouse™ we are delivering the future in luxury goods.
TealHouse™ is reimagining a new era that is sustainable, cruelty-free, and empowering. Our engineers work side-by-side with our design team, interweaving decades of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and fashion – resulting in unparalleled design and product possibilities that relentlessly push our industry forward.

Our mission is to make the global luxury industry more ethical by eliminating the use of animals and other environmentally detrimental materials to make luxury goods.

To do this, we make beautiful high quality alternatives using plants as our main ingredient.

In 2020, we launched our first product, the TealBottom™ stiletto. It's modern, sleek, and made using ethical vegan leathers.

Why Vegan Leathers?

Because to us, luxury is a deep understanding of privilege and our power to challenge the status quo with it. It's about demanding better methods, better technologies, and better sustainable practices. At the end of the day, luxury is about more than wealth, it’s a commitment to what you believe. That's why we've began on a journey to redefine luxury.

With TealHouse™ products not only look good, but also have our customers feeling good knowing that what they are wearing are made with high ethical standards.

Our TealHouse™ leathers are similar to the leatherettes used by luxury automobile brands such as Range Rover, Tesla, Infiniti, Bentley, etc…

Our synthetic leathers are 100% vegan and made to feel like genuine leather but without the use of animals. They are designed to wear gently over time, meaning they will maintain their look and feel longer than traditional animal leather.

As a bio-based material, genuine leather is biodegradable. This however, assumes the shoes you are buying are not meant to last and will find their way into a landfill down the line. At TealHouse™, we design high quality luxury products that are classic, timeless, and modern while other trends come and go.

Then there is the production process. Over 70B animals are raised annually for human consumption with 50M+ used for fashion (+1B bunnies each year for their furs). Animal technology is the second largest contributor to human made greenhouse gasses. By contrast, vegan leathers use less natural resources and zero animals to produce.

At TealHouse™, we invest heavily into R&D that goes toward developing new materials. Step one though, is setting a cruelty-free standard with our products.

Designed in the Midwest

Kansas City was once known as a leader in fashion. It was second only to New York City in apparel manufacturing after WWI. At one point, one in seven American women purchased a garment that had been designed and manufactured in Kansas City.

Along side our local partners, we have started a resurgence to reclaim the title. At TealHouse™, we do our part as a tech-infused fashion house that injects science, engineering, technology, and design into our wearables to ensure that we bring it back ethically and with sustainability in mind.
