At TealHouse Inc. ("TealHouse," “we” or “us”), we value our customers and respect their privacy.

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy"), which applies to www.TealHouseInc.com, its mobile applications or website and any other linked and related pages (collectively the “Sites”), which is owned and operated by TealHouse Inc., describes the personal information we may collect from you, the purposes for which we collect it, how we use it and when we may share it with third parties. This Policy also describes the choices you can make about how we collect, use and disclose your information. TealHouse will not collect, use or disclose your personal information other than in compliance with this Policy. This Policy applies to your use of our Sites and any related services as described in our Terms of Use (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services and/or making online purchases of any of our products offered through our Sites (the “Products”), you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy.

1. What is Personal Information?
“Personal Information” is information that, either alone or in combination with other information, identifies or relates to a particular individual. Examples of Personal Information include, but is not limited to, name, email address, phone number, mailing address, credit card information, and online identifiers.

2. How We Use Personal Information

3. Types of Personal Information We Use and Collect
A. Information that you Provide Us
We may collect Personal Information from you when you save or otherwise provide your Personal Information to us, such as by setting up a user account and password, logging in as a registered user of the Sites, searching for a Product, placing an order for a Product, providing information in your account, interacting with us by phone, e-mail, or through our Sites or if you complete an entry form to participate in a contest, promotion or survey, whether online or at one of our retail stores. As a result of these actions, you might supply us with Personal Information, such as your name, e-mail and postal addresses, phone number(s), credit card information, names of people to whom purchases have been shipped, including address and telephone numbers, product interest information, financial information and in certain circumstances, your opinions and individual preferences. We may also maintain a record of your product interests and acquire information about you from our present and future affiliates or divisions (collectively, "Affiliates").

B. Information We Automatically Collect from You
When you visit our Sites, we may also gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include without limitation browser information, Internet Service Provider (ISP), operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses or other device identifiers, location and date/time stamp.

If you access our mobile site or application, we may receive information about your location and your mobile device. Most mobile devices allow you to control or disable location services in the device's settings menu. We and our service providers may use and store this information to provide you with location based services, search results, and other personalized content. TealHouse will provide notifications only to those customers who accept to receive such notifications.

We may use "cookies" to track your preferences and activities on the Sites. Cookies are small data files transferred to your computer's hard-drive by a website. They keep a record of your preferences making your subsequent visits to the site more efficient. Cookies may store a variety of information, including, the number of times that you access a site, registration information and the number of times that you view a particular page or other item on the site. The use of cookies is a common practice adopted by most major websites to better serve their clients. Most browsers provide you with the ability to block, delete, or disable cookies, and your mobile device may allow you to disable transmission of unique identifiers and location data. If you choose to reject cookies or block device identifiers, some features of our Services may not be available or some functionality may be limited or unavailable. Please review the help pages of your browser or mobile device for assistance with changing your settings.

Some of our third party service providers may use cookies or other methods to gather information regarding your use of the Services, and may combine the information in these cookies with any Personal Information about you that they may have. The use of such tracking information by a third party depends on the privacy policy of that third party.

We use may cookies and similar technology to connect you with more information about our Services. For example, based on your previous interactions with our Services as tracked by cookies and similar technologies, our advertisers may display targeted advertisements when you visit third-party websites and social networks. This process also helps us understand the effectiveness of our content and marketing efforts. 4. Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not disclose Personal Information except as set forth in this Policy or with your consent. This section describes to whom we disclose Personal Information and for what purposes.

  • Organizations Involved in Mergers and Acquisitions Transactions. In the event of a sale of all or substantially all of our business or another similar transaction (including a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution or liquidation), we may transfer or disclose your Personal Information to a purchaser or prospective purchaser, who may collect, use and disclose such information for the purposes of evaluating the proposed transaction or operating and managing the affairs of the acquired business, or for other purposes identified in this Policy.
  • Law Enforcement Government Agencies, and Courts. We reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information as required by law, in response to legal process and law enforcement requests or in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes, and as necessary to defend against a legal claim or as otherwise required to allowed by law, or to protect the property, interests, rights and safety of TealHouse, Affiliates, or any other person. We may also disclose Personal Information to investigate or prevent a violation by you of any contractual or other relationship with us or any alleged illegal or harmful activity by you.
  • Third Party Providers. We employ service providers to perform tasks on our behalf and to assist us in operating our Services. For example, we engage third parties to provide analytics services, hosting services, website and app security, email marketing, customer service and payment processing. We may transfer Personal Information to such third parties pursuant to agreements that prohibit the third parties from using or disclosing your Personal Information other than to perform specific tasks on our behalf and which impose security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
  • Third Party Offers. Our Sites and parts of the Services may contain links to websites operated by third parties and any display offers that may be custom matched to you based on information stored in the Services, queries made through the Services or other information. In connection with offers, the Services may provide links to other websites belonging to advertisers. These websites may collect your Personal Information. This Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties and TealHouse does not assume any responsibility for the activities or policies of those websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies and terms and conditions of any third party website you visit from our Sites. If you elect to use or purchase services or products from any third party or elect to provide, or grant access to, your information to any third party, you and your information are subject to their terms and conditions and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the products and services offered by any third party.    

5. How We Secure and Protect your Personal Information
We have adopted commercially appropriate measures to ensure the confidentiality of Personal Information and to safeguard Personal Information against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification, in light of, among other things, the sensitivity of the information and the purposes for which it is to be used.

Despite these efforts to store Personal Information in a secure operating environment, we cannot guarantee the security of Personal Information. Further, while we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of Personal Information, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third parties such as hackers from illegally obtaining access to Personal Information. We do not represent or warrant that Personal Information about you will be protected against loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties.

6. Your Options    
You are entitled to obtain, at any time, a copy of your Personal Information and to have any inaccuracies corrected. Where appropriate, users may have their Personal Information deleted, corrected, amended, or completed. 7. Your California Privacy Rights
This section applies to our collection and use of “Personal Information”, as defined under California law, if you are a resident of California. We take privacy seriously and we have established and maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical data security practices to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of Personal Information.


  1. Categories of Personal Information Subject to California Privacy Rights
In accordance with California law, we collected (through the Services) the following categories of Personal Information within the preceding 12 months:
  • Identifiers such as your name, email address, and online identifiers;
  • Information that you provide as part of a transaction, including email address, credit or debit card numbers, and physical address;
  • Geolocation data;
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, including information on your usage of our Sites; and
  • Information used to create a profile reflecting your preferences or behavior on the Sites.
We share each of these categories of Personal Information with our service providers to the extent necessary to provide their services and as otherwise described in Section 4, above.

(a) Your California Privacy Rights If you are a resident of California, you have the following rights:
  • Right to Access/Know. You may have the right to request information on the categories of Personal Information that we collected in the previous twelve (12) months, the categories of sources from which the Personal Information was collected, the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you, and the business purposes for which such personal information is collected and shared. You also have the right to request information on the categories of Personal Information that were disclosed for business purposes, and the categories of third parties in the twelve (12) months preceding your request for your Personal Information.
  • Right to Delete. You may have a right to request us to delete Personal Information that we collected from you. However, please be aware that we may not fulfill your request for deletion if we (or our service provider(s)) are required to retain your Personal Information for one or more of the following categories of purposes: (1) to complete a transaction for which the Personal Information was collected, provide a good or service requested by you, or complete a contract between us and you; (2) to ensure our website integrity, security, and functionality; (3) to comply with applicable law or a legal obligation, or exercise rights under the law; or (4) to otherwise use your Personal Information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.
  • Right to Opt Out. You may have a right to opt-out of certain disclosures of Personal Information to third parties, if such disclosures constitute a “sale” under California law. As noted above we enable advertisers to collect certain information from the Site, which the advertisers may use to improve their interest-based advertising networks. Regardless of whether this is a “sale,” you may opt-out of interest-based advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative’s Opt-out page or YourAdChoices, provided by the Digital Advertising Alliance.
 
(b) Exercising Your California Privacy Rights If you would like to exercise your rights listed above, please an email to the email address listed at the bottom of this page. We will not use discriminatory practices against you for exercising your California privacy rights.

While we take measures to ensure that those responsible for receiving and responding to your request are informed of your rights and how to help you exercise those rights, when contacting us to exercise your rights, we ask you to please adhere to the following guidelines:
  • Tell Us Which Right You Are Exercising: Specify which right you want to exercise and the Personal Information to which your request relates. If you are acting on behalf of another consumer, please clearly indicate this fact and your authority to act on such consumer’s behalf.
  • Help Us Verify Your Identity: Provide us with information to verify your identity. For example, provide us with your phone number or email address. If your phone number or email address appears in our records, we may contact you to help confirm that you are making the request. Please note that if we cannot initially verify your identity, we may request additional information to complete the verification process. Any Personal Information you disclose to us for purposes of verifying your identity will solely be used for the purpose of verification.
  • Direct Our Response Delivery: Please provide us with an email or mailing address through which we can provide our response. If you make the request by email, unless otherwise requested, we will assume that we can respond to the email address from which you made the request.

9. Communications    
If you utilize our Services or purchase Products from the Sites, participate in a contest, survey, promotion or special offer, or shop at TealHouse or any Affiliate, we may share your Personal Information with that Affiliate, so that it can communicate with you (whether by e-mail, post or otherwise) and provide you with promotional materials and additional information about its Products, Services, contests, promotions and special offers that may be of interest to you, or collect and use that information subject to and for other purposes contemplated by this Policy.

By providing us with your email address, you acknowledge that we are able to send email communications to you regarding news about our Products or Services, upcoming promotions or contests, information about your order, and other business purposes. If at any time you wish to unsubscribe from our emails, you may do so do by clicking the “Unsubscribe” button in any of our emails.

10. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children and therefore, we do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from those under the age of 18. If you are the parent or the legal guardian of a child who you believe has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the email address listed at the bottom of this page to request deletion of such Personal Information.

11. Other Websites and Services, Including Social Media
While our Services may link to third party websites and services, we have no control over and, assume no responsibility for, the practices, including how they collect, store, and use your data and Personal Information, employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Site, including the information or content contained within them. A link to a third party’s website should not be construed as an endorsement. We encourage you to investigate and ask questions before disclosing Personal Information to third parties. As mentioned in Section 4, we strongly advise you to review the privacy policy, as well as the terms of service or similar agreement, of every site you visit.

12. Changes to our Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change our Policy at any time without prior notice to you. If our Policy changes in the future, we will notify you of any such changes by posting an updated Policy on our website. Following the posting of such changes, your continued use of the Sites will constitute your acceptance of these changes and you will be bound by such changes. You are responsible for regularly reviewing this Policy and any changes thereto.

13. Do Not Track
While your browser may offer a “Do Not Track” option (which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services that you do not wish such operators to track certain online activities of yours), we do not support Do Not Track requests at this time.
